Growing up in Miami, I learned two things early: how to fix things with my hands, and how much this city notices your car. Those two things became a career. By 1998 I was under the star of Mercedes-Benz full-time, and I spent the next twenty-plus years mastering every system, every model, every generation.
In 2006, after years as the lead technician at a South Florida dealership, I opened the doors to Miami Benz. No corporate targets. No finance office. Just one shop, one obsession. Over the years we’ve extended the same factory-level standards to BMW, Audi and Porsche. The promise hasn’t changed: your car leaves here driving better than the day you bought it.

Lester didn’t just learn to work on Mercedes-Benz. He mastered every system, every generation, every quirk that the cars themselves sometimes forget.
Since 1998, Lester has lived under the star. As Team Leader of 15+ technicians at an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership, he earned both his Master Technician certification and his ASE credentials: the top of the factory’s technical hierarchy.
In 2006 he made the bet that would become Miami Benz: that the 305 deserved a shop where dealership-caliber work met the transparency only an independent specialist could provide. In the years since, the same standards have extended to BMW, Audi and Porsche. Twenty years, hundreds of five-star reviews, and a waiting list of Miami’s most discerning owners later. The bet paid off.

The first wrench turns
Lester begins his career working exclusively on Mercedes-Benz at an authorized South Florida dealership. From day one, never a different brand.
Master-certified. Team lead.
Earns Mercedes-Benz Master Technician credentials and full ASE certification. Promoted to Team Leader overseeing a crew of 15+ factory-trained technicians.
Miami Benz opens its doors
10,000 sq ft, three bays, one philosophy. The shop opens at 5844 Commerce Lane in South Miami. Dealer-level work, independent pricing, transparent from the first handshake.
The restoration wing
Miami Benz expands into classic Mercedes restorations. Pagoda SLs, 560SECs, W123s brought back to concours condition with parts sourced direct from Europe.
BMW, Audi & Porsche added
At the request of long-standing clients, Miami Benz extends factory-level service to BMW, Audi and Porsche. Same master-certified standards. Same transparent pricing. Same cream-of-Europe parts channels.
Sprinter specialty added
Dedicated Sprinter service launches for commercial fleets, mobile businesses, and custom camper conversions. The same OEM standards, a different kind of Benz.
